Luis Almeida

Luis Almeida brings to his lessons and training an extensive background in classical dressage.  In Europe, he trained and traveled with many master instructors and riders in dressage and eventing, and was ranked one of the top twenty riders in his native Portugal before coming to the United States. He and his students were featured in a television special that aired on Radio e Televisao de Portugal in 2008.

Luis currently coaches students of all levels in dressage, eventing and hunter/jumper disciplines.

Both the instructor, and his students compete at various events throughout the tri-state area.

He emphasizes a strong work ethic, and has proven that hard work and perseverance will produce a confident and poised equestrian.

Luis operates Cima Stables out of the beautiful Cedarfields Farm.  This facility boasts top notch care, private indoor and outdoor arenas, a heated barn and a fun, friendly atmosphere.
